Exciting news! The Bluesland Horn Band recently launched it's new, sixth album "SIX". This is bold horn band music! You'll hear blues-based music infused with soul/jazz, funk, gospel, western swing all the way to mid-60's R&B. This is dance music! This is hurtin' and happy music. Well written and well played with special musical guests. Music supporters from around the globe have been downloading the product from sites such as Itunes and CD Baby and providing encouraging feedback on the band's great sound and broad approach to roots music. The Toronto Blues Society music review of the previous “Let’s Go Dancing” album concludes with “this band sure sounds good!”. No less a blues master than Buddy Guy has played the band’s songs on his radio show saying “you’ll be hearing more from this great Canadian band”! The last five albums; "Down In New Orleans", "Radio Waves", "Let's Go Dancing", "Keep It In the Shadows" and "SIX" are all available for download on approved sites such as itunes and CD Baby and through other authorized streaming sites. The next performance of the Bluesland Horn Band with be in Calgary at The Blues Can May 3 & 4 Bluesland has released it's new album "SIX". This is bold horn band music! The album SIX has spent four weeks at NUMBER 1 on the Canadian Blues and Roots charts.
