Exciting news! The Bluesland Horn Band has launched it's new record "Radio Waves" recently at the Ironwood Stage and Grill. It was a doubly exciting day as we recorded with a 24 track and shot HD video. Look for new video shortly. "Radio Waves" is the third album produced by Bluesland recorded at Bluesland Studio and mixed by engineer Ken Burke, of Burkeville Productions, Vancouver and mastered by engineer Perry Barret in Florida. The all original album includes some terrific special guests such as legendary pianist Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne, saxophonists Pat Belliveau and Richard Harding, keyboardist and arranger Miles Jackson and bg vocals by Deanne Matley. The CD and Audio Downloads are being released in February 2016. The album captured a mix of funky, jazzy, blues and takes "horn band" music to the next level. Bluesland's last album "Down In New Orleans" was one of the ten most played roots/blues albums for Canadian College Radio in 2014. The band launched it's most recent record "Radio Waves" at the Ironwood Stage and Grill last year. A 24 track recording and HD Video of the event which are available on Youtube and DVD. The album achieved Number 1 on the earshot national blues/roots radio charts and was played and discussed by legendary bluesman Buddy Guy on a recent Sirius XM radio show.
